We’re 30 minutes away from throw-in and there are plenty of selection rumours flying around Croke Park.
Rob Hennelly looks like he’ll David Clarke in the Mayo goals, while there’s talk Paddy Andrews will replace Paul Flynn in the Dublin attack.

Dublin
It was reported this morning that Cillian O’Connor’s participation was in doubt due to injury, but he looks alright. He’s taking a full part in the Mayo warm-up.
Dublin have made three late changes to their team.
So that’s two former winners of Footballer of the Year dropped by Jim Gavin – Michael Darragh MacAuley and Bernard Brogan. Gavin shows his ruthlessness.
We’re moments away from throw-in! Let us know in the comments section who you fancy to win it!
Diarmuid Connolly looks like he’s lining up at midfield where Lee Keegan will likely follow him. Interesting move by Gavin.
Tom Parsons hits an early wide for Mayo. There are concerns for Paul Flynn and Lee Keegan as they collided knees but both are okay to resume play.
3 mins – Dublin 0-0 Mayo 0-0
James McCarthy hits Dublin’s first wide. We’re still scoreless as both teams defend tenaciously.

BLACK CARD! Johnny Cooper has been dismissed for a trip on Donal Vaughan. That’s a massive blow to Dublin.
22 mins – Dublin 0-7 Mayo 1-4
The teams are level for the second time. Another free from Rock.
Here’s a look at Keegan’s well-taken goal:
Keegan and Small trade wides. Cian O’Sullivan is tracking Aidan O’Shea and playing far further out the field that we’re used to.
29 mins – Dublin 0-8 Mayo 1-4
Kevin McManamon has been the outstanding Dublin forward from play. He wins a free which Rock lands over. The Ballymun sharpshooter has been flawless on placed balls so far.

Rock’s free is good. We’re into the first of four minutes stoppage time.
35+4 mins – Dublin 0-10 Mayo 1-6
Cillian O’Connor converts a close-range free for Mayo. They trail by one.
There’s a dust-up in the centre of the field between a number of players from either team. John Small and Cillian O’Connor were involved, while things got heated between Diarmuid Connolly and Donal Vaughan too.
Half-time: Dublin 0-10 Mayo 1-6
The teams were level on three occasions in the opening 35 minutes. We’ve seen two black cards issued and a number of flash points between players all around the field.
There’s plenty of criticism coming in for Maurice Deegan’s refereeing performance.
Here’s the off-the-ball incident between Small and O’Connor:
37 mins – Dublin 0-10 Mayo 1-8
The O’Connor brothers have bagged a point each to send Mayo in front.

Kevin McLoughlin jinks inside and splits the posts from a tight angle. It’s been 12 minutes since Dublin’s last score – Connolly’s penalty.
44 mins – Dublin 1-12 Mayo 1-10
Bernard Brogan announces his arrival by drilling over the bar off his left. MDMA created that score with a driving run.
On the Mayo side Barry Moran replaces Andy Moran and he’s gone straight into the edge of the square. He’s being picked up by Michael Fitzsimmons.
55 mins – Dublin 1-12 Mayo 1-11
Massive score by Paddy Durcan from distance.
Cormac Costello has come in for Kevin McManamon. The Dublin cavalry have all started to arrive.

Cillian O’Connor’s ninth free leaves a point between them. This is it, we’ve two minutes left as Dublin play keep ball.
Fitzsimmons fluffs a chance to take a score himself and passes to Costello when he should have shot himself. At the far end Cillian O’Connor stands over a free to level the game.
Throw a punch at a guy on the ground get a yellow card…jaysus.
The one thing that the drawn game proved beyond doubt is that Dublin are eminently beatable. Am very confident that it’s Mayo’s time to end all the years/decades of hurt.
Maybe reread your comment. You are contradicting yourself.
@Brendan Hughes: Go back to bed … clown
What a Louise degree blind has a bat
Well???? Beatable???? Maybe next year.
Ciaran Kilkenny is wasteful, Doesn’t know how to pull the trigger and slows things down.
Another JACKASS of a ref , destroying a game once again…beyond belief..
That’s the type of foul that the black card was introduced for. Cooper only has himself to blame, no danger in that half of the field. Small should have went too but at least his was a ‘smart’ foul.
But two minutes earlier he was wiped out so…
Black cards ruin the game
Black is better than red
The sin bin is a good idea
Pulling players to the ground was ruining the game now lack of consistency refereeing the black card is what is killing the game.
Hopefully Connolly isn’t targeted like the last day!
Hopefully he is!
Is that because he can’t control his emotions and is a good bet to get sent off?
C’mon Mayo!!!!
Think Lee Keegan has his number,
Ref is gona ruin this game!!!!
The referee should get a red card poor game gave a lot to dublin
Joker alert. He even kicked a ball over the Dublin bar for Mayo!
Dublin win by the help of poor refree
That’s a ridiculous statement….Mayo fought hard but the best team at end of day were the dubs
Yes Padraig. It was the ref.
Mayo couldn’t buy an all ireland
Dublin committing acts of thuggery? Referee letting it go unpunished?
I’m absolutely shocked!
Rochelle trolling, I’m absolutely shocked.
Cmon the Dubs, shatter Dame Inda’s mojo.
Bye bye Lee!!
Poor aul St Lee. A lovely man who never did anything wrong in his life.
Definitely Mayo this time around. And by five points.
C’mon you boy’s in blue!
Refs free given to a Mayo near the end didn’t win it for them, or provide a draw.
Well done Dublin.
Mayo might as well not bother next year, they just can’t win it
Dubs to win by 5/6 points
Refs put some pressure on themselves with soft black cards
First Dub player should of defo got one, second was 50/50
Ah no I agree small should definitely have got black card, but then I think if coopers should have been a black, there should be 6 or 7 every game
Well the hatchet job all week has worked
Well done Dublin, even the ref gave Mayo a free/extra point near the end.
Suck it up Enda
Since Mayo fell to my Meath in 1996 I have long enjoyed watching them trip over themselves in finals. But it’s gone beyond a joke now. The last final Mayo were in,they, in spite of the ‘curse’ wherled out the last surviving member of the last sucessfull mayo team, put him front and center and they lost. If they lose today they should just not field a team till this curse passes them by.
The last piece of Magic left in the world!
Dublin is poor.
The ref is fearful of “spoiling the game as a spectacle!!!”.
Best direct team won, Ref was dire, get rid of the black card as the Referees cant officiate properly. Mayo can’t have any complaints , it was laid on a plate for them again and they imploded, no sympathy. They will always find a way of losing,Why da puck did they change keepers?
Indo saying cillian o connor out.
@Liam Dunne: we’ll see.
Jesus that idiot Martin Carney is on RTE saying Cooper’s black was harsh! He grabbed hold of his legs and tripped him. No fan of Deegan, but that was clear cut!
Could turn out to be best black card of the day!
They should put a cage around the pitch and let the gurriers fight away a disgraceful display of football
Ur some idiot
