“He’s a good player, but he’s not a great player…”
JOHN GILES HAS been using this logic for years, and it seems his thinking has rubbed off on Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The PSG striker was recently a guest ion Sports Illustrated’s online show SI Now, when the eternal Messi/Ronaldo question was put to him.
Host Maggie Gray played a word association game with him, where he had to say the first word that came to his mind when she spoke to him.
First up, Gray said “Lionel Messi”, to which Zlatan responded: “Fantastic”.
But upon hearing Cristiano Ronaldo’s name, the best he could come up with was, “good”.
That’s the debate settled, once and for all.
Additionally, he described himself as, “Wow!”. No surprises there.
