Zlatan Ibrahimovic's move to Man Utd to be completed this week - reports

The 34-year-old will become new manager Jose Mourinho’s second signing at Manchester United.

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC’S MOVE to Manchester United will be made official by the end of the week, according to reports.

The former Swedish international, who announced his retirement from the national team during Euro 2016, will once again team up with Jose Mourinho after the pair worked together at Inter Milan.

It was believed that the signing of Ibrahimovic hinged on his decision on whether or not he was going to represent his country at the Olympic Games this summer, which overlaps with the start of the Premier League.

But after ruling out the possibility of lining out in Rio, he has paved the way to join Mourinho’s new side.

Ibrahimovic, who becomes a free agent on 1 July, will sign a deal worth a reported £220,000-a-week, as he looks to to win a league title in a fifth different country after domestic success in Holland, Italy, Spain and France.

The former Barcelona striker, who scored scored 38 goals last season as his Paris St-Germain side won the French league by 31 points, failed to find the back of the net during Euro 2016.

Should Ibrahimovic sign for the Old Trafford club, he will become Mourinho’s second signing since his appointment as United manager after defender Eric Bailly completed a £30 million move from La Liga side Villarreal.
