TOP UFC MIDDLEWEIGHT Yoel Romero has been notified of a potential anti-doping violation.

The US Anti-Doping Agency informed Romero and the UFC on Tuesday that they are investigating the results of an out-of-competition test involving the Cuban.

“The UFC organization was notified today that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) informed Yoel Romero of a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collection,” a statement read.

“USADA, the independent administrator of the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, will handle the results management and appropriate adjudication of this case involving Romero.

“Additional information will be provided at the appropriate time as the process moves forward.”

Romero, 38, beat Ronaldo Souza at UFC 194 in December to cement his claim as the number one contender for champion Luke Rockhold’s middleweight title.

I thought Mipo was gonna go places big time in England, disappointed he didn’t make it but very best of luck to him at Shels, Duffer will demand his best application so hopefully he can take the long road to fulfilling his potential.
