Yaya Toure's future plunged into further uncertainty as he refuses to commit to City

Is this the clearest indication yet that the 31-year-old will leave Eastlands?

YAYA TOURE HAS refused to confirm whether he will remain at Manchester City beyond the end of the season.

Speculation surrounding the midfielder’s future heightened last May after his agent, Dimitri Seluk, claimed that the 31-year-old was unhappy after City failed to wish him a happy birthday.

Toure’s status at City was questioned once again in November after he passed up the chance to deny that he was interested in a move to Paris Saint-Germain by admitting that he would “never close the door to a big club”.

And Toure, who is currently training with Ivory Coast ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations campaign, has again refused to commit his long-term future to the Premier League champions.

When asked if he wanted to stay at City, Toure told CNN: “That’s a big question and that’s an easy question as well, and you have an easy answer – we’ll see.

Asked if he would be at City next season, Toure replied: “I don’t know. I’m at City at the moment.”
