Wrestling superstar John Cena took a break from the ring last night to present a cheque to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the world’s largest nonprofit funder of breast cancer research and community outreach programs.
The money was raised during a month-long campaign during October in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Approximately five million women per week watch WWE’s progammes, the company said.
More than 100 breast cancer survivors, co-survivors and representatives were in attendance for the presentation, made live on Monday Night Raw last night.
