SOME OWN GOALS are easily explained. No good defender should go through a career without a small handful OGs against their name.
Mis-timing a header, lunging for a last-gasp block or having a cross blasted at your shin. These are all forgiveable ways of scoring against your own team.
Mike van der Hoorn could only find sympathy from the referee in this game.
With Utrecht already down to nine men, van der Hoorn supplied AZ’s fourth goal of the game… but only after he had controlled a cross and (under no pressure at all) dinked a lovely little left-foot finish into the corner.
Four down at half time, Utrecht ended up on the wrong end of a 6-0 hiding.
This time round all the pressure is on KD not LeBron
Good Article. Would love to see more NBA coverage next season including the odd regular season update maybe
Not sure about the last one re Steph, purely because the cavs have only lost one playoff game so are similarly rested.
@Lurfic: But I think the main point there is the difference from last year.
Curry had a stop start post-season with injuries and they had a rough ride including a 7 game series with OKC, whereas the Cavs had a fairly easy run bar Toronto giving them 2 tough games.
This year both teams are similarly rested which tips the scales in Golden State’s favour if you compare to last year.
Warriors in 6 .. chalk it !!
