VIDEO: High speed crash at Track Cycling World Championships looks very sore

Matthew Glaetzer will probably need some cream for that.

AS IF RIDING the Keirin — where the pace is set by a motorbike — wasn’t scary enough, then this high speed crash should be enough to put you right off.

The unfortunate victim was Australia’s Matthew Glaetzer. He suffered the spectacular crash during the heat of the event at the Track Cycling World Championships in Colombia earlier this week when Irish eyes were focused on Martyn Irvine’s silver success.

While the slide looked sore, Glaetzer’s bike almost ended up taking out some of the commentators after bouncing off the track.

Sixth place for both Irvine and Ryan overnight at World Championships
