Pace, power and outstanding offloading - the top 5 tries from yesterday's WRWC action

The Black Ferns were on fire again.

THE POOL STAGES of the Women’s Rugby World Cup drew to a close yesterday and while the race for the semi-finals was pretty straightforward in the end, there was still some sensational rugby on show at UCD.

New Zealand and England continued their impressive march into the final four with wins over Canada and USA respectively, while France overpowered Ireland to top Pool C and advance as the team to watch heading into the knock-out stages.

The Black Ferns will face USA in the first semi-final at Ulster’s Kingspan Stadium on Tuesday before England and France lock horns at 7.45pm.

To whet your appetite for two mouth-watering clashes, here are the top five tries from Thursday’s action in Belfield.
