2012 TOUR DE FRANCE winner Bradley Wiggins won’t be part of Team Sky’s efforts to make it three victories in a row as the British team focus all their attention on last year’s champion Chris Froome.
Wiggins told BBC television he was “gutted” not to be included “as things stand.”

“The team is focused around Chris Froome,” Wiggins said on Friday.
The 34-year old continued:
“I am gutted. I’ve worked extremely hard for this throughout the winter and up to the summer. I feel I am in the form I was two years ago.”
While many expected Wiggins to operate as Froome’s number two this year, the 2013 winner suggested earlier this month he would prefer Richie Porte in that role having endured a fraught relationship with Wiggins over the past two years.
That two time BBC Sports Personality of the Year Coach Award winner Dave Brailsford wasn’t able to accommodate both cyclists has left some fans frustrated.
@mattslaterbbc Completely ridiculous. Coach of the Millennium can't manage star sports men is the real story.
