Who would you cast in RTE Sport: The Movie?

The casting for a new Holywood movie on ESPN will begin soon after the film was green-lighted. But Hollywood starlets and silver screen leading men would best portray OUR favourite sports presenters and pundits.

HOLLYWOOD HAS given the green-light – as is the technical term, I believe – to a movie based on the book Those Guys Have All The Fun.

The recently-published work is about ESPN’s rise to become the most powerful broker in sports broadcasting in the US. It’s worth a read.

Already conversation has started as to who will play the likes of Bristol giants like Chris Berman, Bill Simmons and Erin Andrews.

But which Hollywood starlets and leading men would best portray our favourite sports presenters and pundits from Montrose?

James Gandolfini as George Hook. Imposing, shrewd and outspoken. A real boss of a character.
