COLDPLAY’S LEAD SINGER Chris Martin dropped in to Straight Blast Gym for a training session with head coach John Kavanaghwhile the band were in Ireland last weekend.
“He’s got heavy hands. The guy can hit. He has some of the worst uppercuts I’ve ever seen, but he has straight punches and he kicks like a donkey.”
Martin has been involved in martial arts for quite a while, and is a fan of both Kavanagh and Conor McGregor, and plans on going to McGregor’s fight against Floyd Mayweather next month.
