The Irish Murderball - Ireland's first-ever World Championship wheelchair rugby team

The Irish athletes travelled to Sydney for the competition earlier this year.

“I LEFT REHAB unable to get my chair out of my car. The lads taught me that.”

This year, Ireland were represented at the Wheelchair Rugby World Championships for the first time.

We spoke to some of the athletes about the sport itself, their own paths to it and how sport can help rehabilitate after serious injuries.
