2. They don’t mess around in the NFL

3. The undersoil heating works

The Aviva Stadium faced its first real test since it open recently when Ireland faced Argentina yesterday.

The undersoil heating was on since Thursday and the pitch passed an inspection from officials at around 10am. The IRFU told us then that the game was good to go. How did you enjoy the game?

4. Snooker’s coming back to Ireland

Top-flight snooker will return to Ireland after a six-year gap. The €236,000 Players Tour Championship Grand Finals will take place at the Helix Theatre in Dublin from March 16 to 20 next year.

5. Aiden McGeady DOES know how to tackle… kinda
