3 new faces in Wexford hurling team to face Kilkenny in league quarter-final

Eoin Moore, Ian Byrne and Ciaran Kenny will all start for Wexford.

EOIN MOORE, IAN Byrne and Ciaran Kenny have all been brought in to the Wexford team to face Kilkenny on Sunday.

Manager Liam Dunne has made three changes for their Division 1 hurling league quarter-final tie in Wexford Park after last week’s loss to Cork.

Moore starts at corner-back instead of the suspended Bobby Kenny while Ciaran Kenny comes into the half-back line for Willie Devereux.

Ian Byrne gets the nod to start at wing-forward with positional changes seeing Diarmuid O’Keeffe moving to wing-back and Shane Tomkins switching to midfield. Liam Ryan drops to the bench.

Meanwhile the Wexford football team has also been named for their Division 3 tie against Fermanagh on Sunday.
