ARSENAL MANAGER ARSENE Wenger is hopeful that a victory over Borussia Dortmund can help his team kickstart their season, especially following the 8-2 Premier League hammering against Manchester United.

However, a corner may have been turned at the weekend with the 1-0 win over Swansea, their first of the campaign.
“For us, it is important to get consistency because that is the first sign of quality for a team,” he said.
Wenger is not underestimating the talents of Dortmund, and finds much to admire in the Bundesliga side’s style of play.
“They play very fast, very offence very similar to Arsenal. It will be a good match. We will play offensively, they will play offensively so it will be a very attractive match.”
Arsenal will be without Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere and Thomas Vermaelen, among others, but Wenger has named five new signings – Mikel Arteta, Per Mertesacker, Yossi Benayoun, Andre Santos and Park Chu-young – in the squad for Tuesday’s match.
