The best thing we shared

A bunch of builders taking on the Class of ’92 in a five-a-side kick around on the rooftop of the ‘Hotel Football’… this is as class as it sounds.

On the record

Maybe it was the adrenaline; maybe it was the fatigue; maybe it was the occasion. But the next thing that happened was so difficult to understand. He walked towards me and, out of the blue, head-butted me in the chest.”

Marco Materazzi explains why Zinedine Zidane head-butted him in the 2006 World Cup final.

Where we were today

We headed out to Malahide to see how Ireland are getting on in training ahead of the Turkey match on Sunday.

Showbiz, Baby!

15-year-old AC Milan wonderkid Hachim Mastour hit the headlines recently after his promotion into the club’s first team squad, and he’s doing his best to stay in the public consciousness with videos like this one.

maybe Celtic should push to move to the English league”
    - that idea for Celtic and Rangers has been floated before – but it would leave Scottish Premier league in a mess and deprive many clubs of their big pay day from both clubs – when Rangers presumably are again in Premier Scottish league .
As for Keane – he certainly gets a lot of publicity for a ” manager ” that failed at two English Premier league clubs .

Keane is a decent championship manager but not a great premiership one.Celtic will find it very hard to get a proven coach to go there when the league has had only one half decent team
