Welcome return: Kelly and Mullane back training with Waterford tonight

Michael Ryan will be glad to have two experienced players available again as they attempt to drag themselves out of a poor league campaign.

WATERFORD WILL RECEIVE a welcome boost as Eoin Kelly and John Mullane are due to link up with the senior hurling panel this evening.

The pair have missed the start of the Allianz National Hurling League because of different reasons but make a return to training and should be in line to feature in the Deise’s final two games against Galway and Dublin.

Kelly has patched things up with manager Michael Ryan after being left out because of fitness concerns while Mullane has made himself available again after deciding to take a break from the set-up, citing family commitments.

A spokesperson for the county today confirmed to TheScore that the two forwards will be involved in tonight’s session.

Waterford are in danger of relegation from Division 1A after suffering defeats to Cork, Kilkenny and Tipperary and face a huge game against Anthony Daly’s Dublin, also yet to get any points on the board, at Semple Stadium on Saturday.
