STEPHEN HUNT has left himself open to a sanction from the English FA after suggesting his Wolves team should be trying to get opponents sent off.
The Irish winger, who is rarely shy to speak his mind, has claimed that every team over-reacts to challenges in a bid to influence the referee’s decision-making.

And he believes that he and his Wolves team-mates need to be more streetwise in order to become skilled in the art of deception and enhance their chances of staying in the Premier League this season.

“Sometimes the reactions of the players are clever, they help the referee to get the player sent off.
“We have been done in the past – like with Jonathan Woodgate (against Stoke) for instance.
“We should have been surrounding the referee to get him sent off. Every team does it, so we don’t do it and get punished. Maybe we should start doing it,” he added.
Hunt made the comments in light of Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal, which saw Serbian midfielder Nenad Milijas sent off by referee Stuart Attwell after a tackle on Mikel Arteta in the 75th minute.
The Arsenal players appeared to crowd around Attwell and Wanderers are appealing the decision.
