WITH MANCHESTER UNITED leading West Ham 2-1 going into the final half an hour, captain Wayne Rooney has made their job harder by getting himself sent off.

The striker, who had opened the scoring after just five minutes, caught Stewart Downing with a dangerously-high kick, which led referee Lee Mason to hand him a red card.
