WATERFORD, WEXFORD, LOUTH and Antrim all picked up victories today in Division 4 of the Allianz football league.
Waterford claimed their first points of the league campaign with a 3-15 to 0-15 away to Carlow in Netwatch Cullen Park.
An early Patrick Hurney goal helped Waterford go 1-5 to 0-7 in front at half-time and Hurney’s second goal in the 44th minute pushed Waterford ahead 2-7 to 0-8.
Carlow rallied and cut the deficit to three points, 2-12 to 0-15, in the finale. But Waterford clinched victory when Donie Breathnach raised their third green flag in injury-time.

Antrim remain unbeaten after their 2-14 to 0-10 win against Leitrim. Tomas McCann struck two goals for the Saffron county who were in front 1-4 to 0-6 at the interval before they pulled clear in the second-half.
Louth are also top of the table with Antrim after three games as they saw off Wicklow today by 0-15 to 1-2.
Louth were in front 0-7 to 0-2 at the break and despite conceding a second-half goal from a penalty to Wicklow’s Paul Cunningham, they ran out victors by ten points.

Wexford recorded a comprehensive 4-20 to 1-6 success over London. Tiarnan Rossiter hit their first-half goal as they went in front 1-10 to 1-1 at the break.
Second-half goals from Paul Curtis, John Tubritt and Daithi Waters sealed a comfortable win for David Power’s team.
