LAST NIGHT WILL apparently go down in history as the first time a front flip was ever performed at the X-Games.
Jackson Strong from Australia took gold with the trick, as RacerX reports. “I was going to be pumped whether I took first or last place, it was just my goal to do a front flip at X Games,” the 19 year old said. “I think everyone saw how deep I had to dig. I had to hang on tight for that landing for sure.”
Spare a thought for his compatriots Cameron Sinclair and Josh Sheehan, who finished with silver and bronze respectively, despite both completing double back flips.
