Watch: Fergie gets snotty with King Kenny's daughter on live television

Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson did not care for Kelly Cates’ line of questioning last night. He did not care for it one bit.

ALEX FERGUSON REACTED angrily to suggestions Anders Lindergaard could replace David de Gea in Manchester United’s goal against Chelsea on Sunday.

The United boss was being questioned on ITV following his side 1-1 Champions League draw with Besiktas, when reporter Kelly Cates posed a fairly innocuous question about Lindegaard’s chances after a fine display.

“I don’t know why you ask these questions, you’re just looking for stupid little things. Anyway…it proves we have two terrific goalkeepers,” he snapped.

Of course, the cynics among us believe that had it been any interviewer apart from the daughter of Fergie’s bitter rival Kenny Dalglish, he might have played it with a straight bat.

Later on Thursday, Kelly’s sister Lynsey got in on the act, having her own little dig at the irascible knight.
