MANCHESTER CITY WERE reduced to 10 men in their Premier League clash today, after defender Vincent Kompany was sent off just 10 minutes into the game.
Kompany was red-carded after pulling down Nikica Jelavic, though the striker arguably fouled the Belgian international first.
The 10 men of City weren’t too badly affected however, with David Silva scoring a spectacular strike from roughly 30 yards out to give them the lead shortly after Kompany’s dismissal, before Edin Dzeko’s coolly slotted home David Silva’s sublime through pass in the dying stages to secure a 2-0 win.
Was this decision to send off Vincent Kompany the correct one?
