VIDEO: 'Your wish came true' declares new Lakers star Dwight Howard

The six-time NBA All-Star has moved to Los Angeles after a huge trade involving four teams.

THE NBA LANDSCAPE was forever changed after the LA Lakers acquired megastar centre Dwight Howard in a four-team trade.

The news, announced on Friday, sees Howard link up with Pau Gasol, Metta World Peace, Steve Nash and Kobe Bryant as the Lakers look to win their first championship since 2010.

Howard has been busy making friends, displaying signs of his infamous ego and charming the local media since hissigning from Orlando Magic was announced.

One of his press conference highlights was his impersonation of a female Lakers fan that he often meton his walks around Beverley Hills this summer.

Howard likened himself to Shaquille O’Neal, another power forward that played successfully alongside franchise star Bryant for many years.

“Kobe’s going to be Kobe. He is who he is. I’m not going to change who he is and I’m going going to change who I am.

“I’m going to have fun and do what I do. That’s what got me here today.”

The 26-year-old did not back down when asked to give an impersonation of his new teammate.
