VIDEO: Trap confirms that starting XI v Hungary will face Croatia

Barring injuries, obviously. Meanwhile, the FAI have posted a video of the squad’s last moments in Montecatini.

GIOVANNI TRAPATTONI HAS announced that the Ireland team that starts against Hungary will line out against Croatia next Sunday, barring injuries.

Trap named his team on Sunday night, with Shay Given fit to start in goal despite missing training last week with blisters.

John O’Shea, Richard Dunne, Sean St Ledger and Stephen Ward make up the defence, behind a midfield of Aiden McGeady, Glenn Whelan, Keith Andrews and Damien Duff.

Robbie Keane and Kevin Doyle start up front.

Tonight’s game is live on Setanta Ireland.

Meanwhile, the Ireland squad left their Italian base this weekend for Budapest, and the FAI have posted a video on YouTube detailing the players’ exit from their Montecatini base.
