WORLD CUP FINALISTS France followed up their majestic win over Australia last week with an equally impressive 39-22 victory over Argentina in Lille last night.
Our old mate Vincent Clerc crossed the white-wash twice to overtake his head coach Philippe Saint-Andre in Les Bleus’ all-time try-scoring chart.
Frederic Michalak added 24 points with the boot and Yannick Nyanga’s try rounded off the scoring for the home side.
Puma fly-half, Nicolas Sanchez, kicked well off the ground and added a late drop-goal to his five successful place-kicks, but Marcelo Bosch was the only try-scorer for the visitors.
