GREGORY CAMPBELL OF the Boston Bruins officially entered the Badass Hall of Fame last night.

With Game 3 of the NHL Eastern Conference Finals tied at 1-1, “Soupy” put his body on the line and flung himself at a slapshot by the Pittsburgh Penguins’ Evgeni Malkin.

The shot was so powerful that it broke Campbell’s right fibula on impact — but with the Bruins down a man and defending a powerplay, he struggled back to his feet and played on in agony until his team was back to full strength.

“We’re talking about details, we’re talking about little things that go a long way,” team-mate Patrice Bergeron said afterwards. “That’s the way he is. He sacrifices the body always for the team, for the better of the team.

“Obviously we tried to rally behind that and do it for him because he’s a big part of our team on and off the ice.”

Bergeron scored in double-overtime to win the game and give the Bruins a 3-0 lead in the series.
