LAST WEEK, CRISTIANO Ronaldo scored against Levante whilst only being able to see out of one eye, and midweek The Detroit Pistons’ Greg Monroe went one better.
Upon being fouled, Munroe was poked in the eye by Philadelphia’s Spencer Hawes. Despite one of his contact lenses being out of whack, Munroe still stepped up to the plate (or rather, the free-throw line) and made the shot.
Of course, no NBA player can do anything that Michael Jordan hasn’t already done better. Here’s the great man hitting a free-throw with both eyes shut.
