And the Kilkenny boss, who hasn’t dropped a Leinster title since 2004, maintains that the quality within Leinster is only growing with the re-emergence of Dublin as a major power and the introduction of galway and Antime
“The Leinster Championship is hugely competitive now. A number of years ago people undervalued it and said it was easy to win, but I never thought that was the case.
“Dublin have been performing at a serious level for the past four or five years and almost got to the All Ireland final last year. Then you have Galway and Antrim coming in. So, you know, the quality of the teams in Leinster now is serious.”
