MANCHESTER CITY HAVE resisted a comeback from Chelsea to win 5-3 in New York and complete a clean-sweep of the two-game tour of the USA.

Chelsea trailed 2-0 at half-time thanks to goals from Gareth Barry and Samir Nasri for Manchester City but the London-based club fought back after the break at Yankee Stadium.
Ramires inspired Chelsea with a second-half brace to keep his side in the game but with Nasri notching a double, plus goals to James Milner and Edin Dzeko, Manchester City ended the match on top.
The Premier League runners-up had knocked off Chelsea 4-3 in St Louis on Thursday and continued where they left off in New York on Saturday with Barry opening the scoring in the fourth minute.
Chelsea midfielder Oscar gave the ball away in his defensive half, inexplicably passing straight to Sergio Aguero, whose shot was saved by Henrique Hilario but Barry scored from the rebound.
Nasri doubled City’s lead just before the half-hour with a nice chip over Hilario.
Ramires gave Chelsea some hope just after half-time, running onto David Luiz’s through-ball and then getting past substitute goalkeeper Richard Wright with consummate ease to make it 2-1.
City responded quickly with Jack Rodwell starting a move that saw Milner exchange passes with Dzeko before slamming the ball into the far corner of the net with some style.
With almost 20 minutes remaining, the Blues managed to pull another goal back as Ramires tapped Fernando Torres’ cross home at the far post.
The pace of the game began to tell in the closing stages and Nasri was there to capitalise on some suspect Chelsea defending, waltzing his way past two defenders, after a clever one-two with Dzeko, before clipping the ball over Petr Cech.
Mata kept Chelsea in the match with a free-kick into the top corner in the 81st minute but Dzeko wrapped up the win for City three minutes later with a low drive that beat Cech at his near post.
