SLAUGHTNEIL AND DERRYGONNELLY both advanced to the Ulster club football semi-finals after their respective victories tonight tonight.
Slaughtneil, the defending provincial champions, enjoyed a tight 0-10 to 0-8 win over Tyrone outfit Omagh, who had Joe McMahon and Ronan O’Neill in their ranks, in Celtic Park to book their place in the last four.

The Derry side were wasteful in the first-half and led by 0-6 to 0-5 despite shooting 10 wides. Slaughtneil lost Chrissy McKaigue to a black-card in the 43rd minute with only a point between the sides, but they held out.
In the night’s other quarter-final, Derrygonnelly enjoyed a 2-7 to 0-8 win over Armagh Harps.
The Fermanagh champions led by 2-4 to 0-4 at the interval after early goals from Paul Ward and Conall Jones. Four players were sent-off in the second-half, two for either side, but scores from Garvan Jones and Ward handed a five-point win for Derrygonnelly.
