Poll: It's wide open but who'll take the Ulster senior football crown this year?

In the most competitive province, who will triumph?

WILL MONAGHAN BE the third consecutive Ulster team to win back to back provincial titles this year?

They ended their 25 wait last year, but can they follow the lead of Donegal in 2012, Tyrone in 2010 or even Armagh in 2006 and win two-in-a-row?

Ulster teams have had six of their nine teams competing in Division 1 and 2 of this year’s leagues, as well as being represented by three of the six teams who reached the knockout stages of the two divisions – more than any other province.

Derry are the team to have emerged from the league as favourites, reaching the final of Division 1 before losing to Dublin. How will their style transpire in the heat of championship?

Donegal seem to be the forgotten team, but they topped Division 2 this year. Perhaps there’s more left in them than many believe?

On paper Cavan are actually the form team, a 100% league record in which they only conceded 70 points and they claimed yet another U21 title. But can we pay any heed on their Division 3 form?

And what’s to be said for Down and Armagh, both capable of beating anyone on their day..

In what must be the most competitive province, who will win the Ulster championship 2014?
