JUNIOR DOS SANTOS was no match for Stipe Miocic at UFC 211 in Dallas last night as the American secured his second consecutive title defence in the heavyweight division.
Miocic demonstrated his devastating power as he finished off former champion Dos Santos with a first-round TKO at the American Airlines Center. He has now won five straight fights since losing to dos Santos in 2014.

The hotly-anticipated rematch was dominated by the 34-year-old and despite taking an early kick to his right shin, Miocic quickly assumed control of the fight and pinned dos Santos against the cage before landing the knock-out blow.
With just two minutes and 22 seconds on the clock, Miocic struck with his right hand and referee Herb Dean intervened.
Speaking afterwards, Miocic said: ”We’ve been working on that for 10 weeks. My coach is the best in the world. That’s the reason why I’m the champ.”
