UEFA hand out fines, bans for England, Serbia brawl

Serbia will also be forced to play their next U-21 game behind closed doors.

STEVEN CAULKER HAS been banned for two games for his role in an incident during England’s Under-21 win over Serbia in October.

Midfielder Tom Ince has also been suspended for one match by UEFA’s Control & Disciplinary Body after the brawl which marred the Under-21 Championship second-leg playoff game at the Mladost Stadium, in which England left-back Danny Rose was allegedly racially abused.

Tottenham’s Caulker will miss England’s matches against Italy and Norway on June 5 and June 8 next year, while Blackpool man Ince will only sit out the clash with the Italians.

UEFA also banned Serbian coaches Andreja Milunovic and Predrag Katic from all football-related activities for two years – with the final six months of that suspended.

Serbia’s Goran Causic has been suspended for four games, along with Ognjen Mudrinski and Filip Malbasic, who face three-game bans. Nikola Ninkovicis banned for two fixtures.

Meanwhile all charges against Aleksandar Pantic have been dropped.

The Serbian FA have been fined €80,000 for the numerous incidents which took place at the Mladost Stadium in Krusevac and the Serbian Under-21 national team will also be forced to play their next home match behind closed doors.

UEFA also revealed all disciplinary proceedings made against the English Football Association have been dropped however they did receive a warning about the improper conduct of the England team.

All the decisions made by UEFA can be appealed within three days.
