THE UNIVERSITY OF Central Florida has unveiled the special helmets they will wear during tomorrow’s Croke Park Classic game with Penn State.
The Knights are clearly hoping for the ‘luck of the Irish’ with a helmet that features a one four-leaf clover, a shamrock and a pot of gold.
Indeed, the last team who started their college football season with a win in Ireland, Notre Dame in 2012, went on to contest the National Championship Game, college football’s version of the Super Bowl so who knows, it just might work.
