The League of Ireland outfit will peck ‘em in for the clash with the fourth-best team in Spain this weekend.

AIRTRICITY LEAGUE SIDE UCD have revealed plans to give away tickets to their friendly clash with Villarreal.

The La Liga outfit travel to the UCD Bowl on Saturday for a much-anticipated challenge game. But on Friday the club will hand over 2,000 passes for the tie on a first-come, first-served basis at the ticket office.

“It is a wonderful opportunity for our players to go and play against top class opposition from world football, says manager Martin Russell.

“We will use it as an opportunity to show what we can do and hopefully we will attract some new fans who have never seen us play but enjoy our style of football, just because it is Villarreal we will not change the way we encourage our players to play.”

The free tickets are limited to two per person though others will be available as normal at the gate; adults €15, students €10, children under 10 €5
