Winning three of their four pool games ensured a place in day two and the quarter-finals but – though they would reach the final four – they came up just short in their semi-final with Taiwan in Malaysia.
There was some silverware for their efforts as Aisling Kerr from Boston was awarded an Allstar for her efforts in the Games.
UCD International Ladies return from successful first Asian Gaelic Games
LAST MONTH WE brought you news of the UCD International Ladies GAA team who were set to become the first Irish university team to compete at the Asian Gaelic Games with all their players hailing from outside Ireland.
