TYRONE ARE THE 2012 Ulster Minor Football Champions after they beat Monaghan 0-14 to 1-8 on Sunday afternoon.
The Farney took an early lead through a short free-kick and were two in front shortly afterwards when James McElroy pointed inside the first five minutes.

The Red Hands got off the mark through Sean Hackett but it was not long before Monaghan re-established their cushion – this time, Pádraic Keenan grabbing his first score of the game.
Anthony Devlin brought the gap back to a single point as Tyrone came more and more into the match, their attacking play finally finding some cohesion. Scores from man of the match Kieran McGeary, Hackett (2), Peter McKenna, Caolan Harvey and James McGahan put five points in the difference.
However, just as it seemed a rout was on the cards, back came Monaghan and a goal from Conor McCarthy made the match a contest once again.
The momentum swung their way and a Keenan point left just one point between the sides at half-time.
The same duo combined early in the second half to put Monaghan in the lead for the first time since the early stages of the first 35 minutes.
McGeary equalised before McAnespie grabbed, arguably, score of the game for Monaghan.
The match was swinging this way and that, with Mark Bradley getting his first point of the match and McGahan making it Tyrone 0-11 to 1-7.
An injection of energy came to Tyrone’s play at that point, and Monaghan tired. The Drumlin County would only manage one more point in the game as Tyrone ran riot in the late stages, the points rattled off by Cassidy, Bradley and McGahan giving them the title after a close and nervy game.
