THE SPANISH FOOTBALL Federation has lifted the Supercopa suspensions of Tito Vilanova and Jose Mourinho.
Real Madrid coach Mourinho was handed a two-game ban last year after poking Barcelona counterpart Vilanova in the eye during a touchline brawl in the 2011-12 Spanish Supercopa encounter at Camp Nou.

Vilanova received a one-match suspension for his role in the incident. However, the RFEF has now decided to allow both coaches to be in charge of their respective teams during this year’s Supercopa.
Barcelona president Sandro Rosell recently stressed that he was against such a pardon, but the RFEF has nonetheless opted to lift the duo’s bans. The first leg is due to take place on 21 August at Camp Nou, with the return fixture scheduled one week later at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Meanwhile, the fixtures for the new La Liga season are out, revealing the dates for the derby clashes between Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Barca will entertain Real in the league season’s first Clasico on 7 October, with the return fixture at the Santiago Bernabeu on 3 March. The league campaign starts on 18 August and will run through to 1 June , with only the penultimate round of the scheduled 38 set for midweek. The final dates of the tournament may of course be changed should Real Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia or Malaga reach the latter stages of the Champions League.
Reigning champions Madrid begin their campaign at home to Valencia while Barcelona will entertain Real Sociedad at Camp Nou.
