Trooper tries to warn coach of Gatorade bath... fails

WATCH: The security wasn’t hanging around after telling West Virginia coach what was coming.

WEST VIRGINIA BEAT South Florida tonight. And in doing so, the Mountaineers clinched a tie for the Big East championship in Dana Holgorsen’s first season as a head coach.

After the game, while conducting an interview, Holgorsen’s inexperience caught up with him. One of his security guards, a West Virginia state trooper, leaned in and tried to warn Holgorsen about the oncoming Gatorade bath.

It didn’t work.

It’s funny to see how quickly the trooper jumps out of the way. He might take a bullet, but he won’t take some Gatorade… Here’s the video.
