THE WORLD CUP is a distant memory at this stage meaning Premier League enthusiasts only have transfer speculation, pre-season friendlies and the odd European fixture to keep you going until the season starts in a couple of weeks. However, QPR boss Harry Redknapp, a man who knows a thing or two about buying and selling players, is here to help us with a daily round-up of the biggest and best rumours from around Europe.

Arry 1

Atletico Madrid target Man United duo: Atletico have identified Javier Hernandez and Shinji Kagawa as potential buys as the Spanish club looks to rebuild their side. The pair are thought to be worth around £25million in total, with Arda Turan potentially going in the opposite direction.

Old Trafford exodus set to begin: Meanwhile, it’s being reported that United boss Louis van Gaal is willing to sell Kagawa, Hernandez, Nani, Wilfried Zaha, Marouane Fellaini and Anderson, as he prepares to rebuild the club.

Liverpool tempt Lavezzi: It’s understood that Brendan Rodgers’ side will offer approximately £18million for the PSG and Argentina star.

Barcelona ponder Boateng move: The Spanish club are said to be weighing up a £31million move for the 25-year-old Bayern Munich and Germany defender.

Arry 2

Arsenal want Carvalho: Having given up on Sami Khedira, Arsenal have now turned their attention to young Portuguese midfielder William Carvalho.

Bony in demand: Liverpool and Tottenham are set to battle it out for the services of Swansea striker Wilfried Bony, who has a £19million release clause.

Vermaelen exit plan: With Barcelona and Man United thought to be interested in the Belgian star, the £10million-rated defender is refusing to discuss terms for a new contract.

Arry 3

Spurs bid for defensive star: Tottenham are reportedly close to agreeing a £17million deal for 23-year-old Villareal centre-back Mateo Musacchio, as Younes Kaboul gets set to depart for Lazio.

Villa hopeful of retaining Vlaar: Paul Lambert will talk to the Dutch World Cup star in a bid to persuade him to stay amid interest from Tottenham and Southampton.
