6 clubs chase Brady, Judge dismisses Newcastle talk and all today's transfer gossip

HERE ARE THE good, the bad, and the unlikely football moves being talked about today…

Up to six clubs are believed to be chasing the signature of Ireland international Robbie Brady. Premier League quartet Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Burnley and Swansea lead the way, with Championship duo Newcastle and Aston Villa also reportedly keen on the Norwich player.

Alan Judge though, looks like he will be staying at Brentford. The Irish midfielder is edging closer to a return to first-team football as he continues his recovery from a broken leg, but the player has apparently ruled out a move away from Griffin Park, with Newcastle and Brighton admirers of the 28-year-old.

Elsewhere, Manchester City have confirmed that Ireland U21 midfielder Jack Byrne has returned to the club after the Dubliner cut short his loan spell at Blackburn Rovers.

Across the city, Manchester United could offer Roma over £30 million for their Greek defender Kostas Manolas after a deal to sign Victor Lindelof from Benfica fell through.

While Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann continues to be linked with a move to Old Trafford and has rumoured to be offered £220,000 a week – the same amount that lured Paul Pogba back to Manchester.

Meanwhile, West Ham are interested in bringing Celtic striker Moussa Dembele back to London, and could make a bid of up to £30 million of the France U21 international.

Bayer Leverkusen’s sporting director says the club have not received any offers for striker Javier Hernandez, despite Chelsea’s reported interested in the former Manchester United man.

One forward that could be on the move is Watford’s Odion Ighalo, with the Vicarage Road club keen to offload the Nigerian striker if a Chinese club wants to flex their financial muscle.
