La Rochelle coach Patrice Collazo was very emotional at the final whistle.

There were tears of joy in France as the little guys upset the world's greatest club team

La Rochelle went toe-to-toe with Toulon in the Top 14.

CONSIDERING HOW EXPANSIVE Toulon have been at times in the Top 14 this season, last Sunday’s Champions Cup semi-final against Leinster was pretty disappointing.

The European champions could barely hold onto the ball and when they did, conditions required them to keep it tight.

But today was a completely different story. Bernard Laporte’s men played out an absolute cracker away to La Rochelle and although they lost 32-29, both sides played some great rugby.

Mamuka Gorgodze and Josua Tuisova scored tries for Toulon while Alofa Alofa, Sireli Bobo, Kini Murimurivalu and  Malietoa Higano struck for the home side.

Alofa’s score was probably the pick of the bunch.
