This is how you party it up after winning your first Heineken Cup

Careful Jonny, you’re supposed to be Warren’s emergency outhalf!

THE TOULON PLAYERS celebrated their Heineken Cup triumph in style, and in the south of France, today. Moe than two weeks after they beat Clrmont Auvergne in Dublin, their hometown fans got to welcome back the conquering heroes.

The French side were denied a cup and league double when Castres defeated them 19-14 in the Top 14 Final at the weekend. After the loss, Toulon scrumhalf Frederic Michalak reflected, “We had a chance at the double but it came down to small details.”

Today, the Toulon boys were interested in the details of partying and they got some welcome as they rolled into port.

There’s Jonny Wilkinson standing on the roof of the boat (or its nautically named equivalent) with the Heineken Cup held aloft. Live it up boys. Live it up.
