TOTTENHAM HAVE BEATEN Stoke at the Britannia Stadium thanks to Emmanuel Adebayor’s late goal.

Steven Nzonzi had put the the Potters ahead with a glancing header after just three minutes, but Clint Dempsey found the back of the net from distance on the 20 minute mark.

At the start of the second half, Stoke were reduced to ten men with Charlie Adam getting his marching orders.

And on 83 minutes, Adebayor got himself onto the end of Dempsey’s cut-back to score the winner for AVB’s side.
