ONE OF THE Premier League’s longest serving commentators, Tony Gubba, has passed away.

The 69-year-old, who worked for BBC on Match of the Day during his 40 years as a commentator, had fallen ill recently and it was confirmed this afternoon that he has died.
As well as being known for the likes of Grandstand and Sportsnight, Gubba was also the voice of popular computer game International Superstar Soccer.
In recent times, he has featured on reality TV show Dancing On Ice.
