Tomás O'Leary discusses his time with Ireland in the new Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace.

'I could have retired after the Grand Slam' - Tomás O'Leary on an incredible year with Munster and Ireland

The Grand Slam winner took a spin in the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace to chat rugby and his life in the game.

TOMÁS O’LEARY WAS part of Ireland’s last Grand Slam winning side, capping a 12-month span with province and country that also saw him become a European champion.

But it could have all been so different for the Cork native who originally dreamed of winning Liam MacCarthy Cups, not Six Nations titles, as he told us when he strapped himself into the passenger seat next to The42‘s Niall Kelly to take a spin in the new Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace.

O’Leary also spoke about his time with Ireland and what winning the Grand Slam meant both personally and professionally.
