Toulon's manager took the Top 14 trophy to bed with him last night

Luckily enough, there was still room for his wife.

TOULON TEAM MANAGER Tom Whitford brought home the planet’s most gigantic trophy/shield last night and told his wife to shove over.

Jonny Wilkinson proved the goal-kicking hero again, on Saturday night, as Toulon beat Castres 18-12 to secure a Top 14 and Heineken Cup double. Whitford, who appeared for Richmond, Perpignan and Toulon during his playing career, called dibs on Bouclier de Brennus and lugged it home.

This morning, he tweeted: “My wife has told me all about last night’s infidelities.”
