WHEN TOM CLEVERLEY left Manchester United for a season-long loan at Aston Villa in August, not many United fans cared. In fact for many, Cleverley’s ineffective performances last season symbolised the futility of David Moyes’ reign as United boss.

It seems Cleverley doesn’t look back at his time in Manchester too fondly either as the Daily Mail are reporting the midfielder has sold his custom-made club watch.

In fairness to Cleverley, he was probably given a raft of expensive goodies during his time at United so now that he looks likely to be gone for good, he might as well cash in.
